Vintage ORIENT KING DIVER Cal. 1942 Extremely Rare 21 Jewel Automatic Japan

Large and rugged Orient diver style watch reminiscent of Orients of the late 1960s/1970s. This one is in great condition with few scratches and probably dating from the mid 1970s. The movement is of course a variation on the rugged 469 series which itself is based on the older Seiko calibres 66xx and 70xx series. Thus, rugged, reliable and built to run for many years with minimum maintenance. This is old school in looks and design!

Translucent green/yellow dial with gloden hands and hour markers. Inner rotating bezel with depth safety scale (operated via crown at 4). Orient 46946 automatic with 21 jewels. Quickset day via pushbutton at 2.
