RARE VINTAGE NORTH FACE EXTREME With HOOD GORE TEX JACKET MEN S M RED BLUE YELLOW
From the late 80's or early 90's I forget. Looks / has the same color block as the same time period Polo Hi-Tec jacket. Sized as small, but cut more like a medium. Hard to gauge the measurements because there are no seams. See pics with the measuring tape. It is all original- comes complete with the hood alot of these are missing the hood: WATCH OUT! They come with a zip off / on removable hood and some are missing the hood!
It had a belt but it was thin and almost useless. I don't have it anymore.. In the last couple of pictures you can see one of the belt loops is almost loose. You can easily take off the belt loops with an un-stitch tool or even very carefully with a gem star blade. I left them there in case someone would choose to look for the belt.
The jacket is otherwise intact, with a few imperfections shown in the last 4 or 5 pics. 1some small marks on the sleeve. 2some fraying of the black lining on the INSIDE and not visible on the outside.3the most noticeable imperfection is a snag on the front bottom of the flap which became a tear, and has been professionally repaired. 4also there is FADING throughout the coat, although not visible in the pictures or up close. I tried to show it as best as possible. Even on the zipper- it is possible the zipper was once red, and somehow completely evenly on one side (the outer side on the right) it has become totally white.
Maybe it came that way. Camera cant catch it the fading of the color on the nylon. Check the pic of the length measurements. I have other pics I can send on demand too. 5lastly, the belt loop and missing belt. This is the LIGHTER SHELL model. Not the big thick quilted-like puffier version of this coat (they make three different ones- one is even without the belt). Its the LIGHT OUTER SHELL only lined with Gore Tex and that black thin inner lining seen in the pics. Its heavy for a lightweight coat, but it's not the thick padded version. NOT a windbreaker or thin flimsy one layer jacket, it IS lined, but it's the outer shell model. Still thick with the gore tex lining- not at all like a flimsy windbreaker or anything. But you do need a second layer underneath for very cold weather.Very rare color block and style.
