Everything about this jersey is 100% on ice authentic. The double layer elbows and shoulder yoke, the double loop stitched seams and CCM patch on the back hem which was used in the mid 80s on ice CCM jerseys. There's NO fight strap due to the fact that in this era it was up to the teams to have them put in, and was done at the time of customization by the team trainer. These predate any retail authentic hockey jerseys which hadn't been available for the public on a large scale until circa 1989. The Maska CCM tag in the neck reads XL and still has the plastic pop tab.

Gerry Cosby tag in the neck and Cosby logo printed on the rear hem. At the time Cosby would special order these on ice jerseys directly from CCM for customers willing to pay hundreds for the real thing. This was the only way to get your hands on these at the time. Jersey has the true 1987 layered twill front logo sewn on the front. There's no wear or any sign of use.

Polyester airknit fabric is still hard and crisp like sandpaper and has not been washed. Unbelievable for an item 35 years old.
