POST WAR 1587S LADY LIONEL Train Set for Girls in Pastel Colors EXTREMELY RARE
This Holiday Season, here is the ultimate collectible for the model train enthusiast in your life: the highly sought after post war 1587s LADY LIONEL train set for girls in "fashion right colors" circa 1957. This set, which is in absolutely beautiful condition, includes the following. 2037- 500LT Steam Locomotive with smoke and tender in pink frosting. 6462-500 Gondola with four canisters in pink frosting.
6464-510 Box car in robins egg blue. 6464-515 Box car in buttercup yellow. 6427-500 Illuminated caboose in sky blue. As it turns out, she is not the Lionel enthusiast I was back in the early 1950s, so it's time to make it available to another Lionel collector. This set has a TCA official designation as "Refinished Tinplate" as evidenced in the stickers on each car.
