This elegant brooch has never been worn, NIB w/COA. I have only seen this brooch one time. It was pictured on the Smithsonian Store Website, there were no details on this brooch, just a picture under the items of JBK, Our First Lady of the US.

To date, I have not received a reply. If anyone has information on this rare brooch I would love to know it's history and welcome information you know about it. The largest stones are a deep blue sapphire color, when the light shines at the right angle it has a purplish sparkle.

The marquis shaped stones are an aquamarine color with smaller round stones that have a turquoise tint. The pictures do not depict the true beauty of this piece. It was a gift for my mother, who sadly was never able to wear it.

When I found it in her jewelry drawers and opened the box, it took my breath away. I hadn't remembered how stunning it was.

The shape is a Royal Crest.
