EXTREMELY RARE 1882 Wedgwood Ivanhoe Blue/Grey De Bracy & Rowena 18" x 9 3/4" OBLONG Platter Serving Plate. Dated 1882 based on 3 letter engraved stamp and the letter "k" in the 3rd column.

See back of plate pic. This is an original and authentic antique Wedgwood England IVANHOE ironstone platter. Made in England, it features stunning art nouveau era Wedgwood transferware illustration. It has a detailed and colourful center pictorial scene and beautiful portraits around the outside edge, of Isaac of York, the Templar, Rebecca, Wamba the Jester, Coeur de Lion, and Lady Rowena. It has Victorian / Edwardian era scrolls, flowers and various animals.

It has embossed Wedgwood mark on the back (not very clear, but definitely an early Josiah Wedgwood mark) and printed date stamp too. The plate is in great condition, with one hairline on the back (does not go throughto the front).

It was found in Johnstown, PA among other valuable and beautiful pieces. This piece is part of the Ivanhoe series designed by Thomas Allen.
