Extremely RARE Vintage Piero Fornasetti Double Feather Quill Pen Desk Set

The base is porcelain with a beautiful poem inscribed in enameled, the gold border trim is in perfect condition. The pair of brass swivel pivot pen holders do show some tarnish due to age. The a pair of red feather quills are original. Signed on the lower right corner on the original red felt backing. This piece is a part of my Fornasetti collection, one I have been collecting for many years.

I have never seen another one like it before. The Porcelain base measures: 12" x 4" x 5/8. The Feather Quills in their holders measure: 1 Feather Quill: 16 tall. 1 Feather Quill: 13 tall. There are no chips, knicks, cracks, crazes, discoloration or dents.

Sure in its flight, tho swift as Angels Wings. The Pen Commands; & the bold Figure springs. While the slow Pencil's discontinued pace. Repeats the Stroke; but cannot reach the Grace. Excellent condition check out my other auctions for more fornasetti.
