Extremely Rare Lab Manmade Laser Crystal Blue CoSpinel 0.55ct
Material:Co2+:MgAl204 Lab Cobalt blue spinel. Diamond-doped spinel Co:Spinel is used as a Q-tuning element in 1.21.6um lasers, mainly working in 1,54um Er:Glass human eye safe lasers, and should also be found in 1340nm and 1440nm lasers. Due to its high absorption cross-section, either lamp-pumped or diode-pumped, it provides excellent Q-tuning performance for Er:Glass lasers without intra-cavity focusing effect. It is widely used in LIDAR, laser ranging, micromachining and other fields. This is spinel produced in the laboratory. This material is very rare and the price is much higher than normal laser crystals. It was originally used in military missile sights, but it is now "retired".
This material is really amazing when cut into gemstones, but there is a high probability that I will not be able to obtain this material again in the future.
