The cobalt or dark blue glass body is decorated with a profusion of golden yellow flowers worked with blue and red enameled highlights. The background is touched with splashes of gold enamel throughout. The base finished with a plain border and the bottom base worked with a polished pontil.

On page 13, the reference book states, This third chapter, on the subject of garasu-jippo or enameled glass, is the shortest in this guide. Overall, a very refined and high quality enameled glass vase that is in near mint condition and seldom publicly offered.The height of this vase is approximately 7.5 inches. The width of the vase is approximately 6.25 inches.
