On offer is this show-stopping pair of sterling-silver cufflinks with lapis lazuli stones set in mosaic epoxy by Mary Ann Scherr, 1960s. The pair is 2 long, so not for the fainthearted, and is in very good vintage condition. Despite the length of the faces, the links are not overly heavy, weighing 23.9g in total. Her jewelry is extremely rare and I cannot find any other example of cufflinks by her nor any other pairs coming onto the market; I acquired these from one of her former students. You would therefore become the curator of a unique piece of wearable art and an important artifact in design history.
