Extremely Rare Eric de Kolb Purse IOB Letter, Embroidered Silk Dulac Stamp

Eric de Kolb for Revlon Extremely Rare Letter Purse in the Original Box! Apple green silk with gold embroidery (name and address, like a real letter) and covered/protected stamps in the upper corner! It has a flap that snaps on the opposite side. And one that contains a double-sided mirror.

All (the purse and two interior envelopes) are structured, indicating a layer of something like stiff interfacing in between the fabric layers i. The purse measures 10 long and 6.25 wide.

Morton, 860 Fairfield Circle, Pasadena, California. The two stamps depict Marianne de Dulac - a 1944 rose stamp and a 1945 blue stamp- both unused and somewhat rare too! The original box has some water spots and a fair amount of wear overall.

Thankfully, the purse does not show the same damage. The exterior is very nice and only has a small amount of fading/wear/smudges. The interior is near-perfect no mars that I could see and a gorgeous blue. The mirror is losing some of its silver from age and the edges are worn-looking. The purse is solid in its construction and could absolutely be used, as is, if you wish. That said, this particular purse is truly rare and Eric de Kolb is known for his art/jewelry. It would be an interesting display or collection piece for the right person as well.
