EXTREMELY rare Alexander McQueen De Manta Jellyfish clutch- Platos Atlantis. Many years later, the Victoria & Albert Museum paid tribute to this seismic collection showing designs that had been procured for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. To further honour this particular collection they made available similar De Manta clutches, in silk and leather. However they are an homage, without the exact detailing as the originals. The originals, as you will be able to see, used only two rivets to secure the leather McQueen logo to the front of the clutch.

Also the signature itself differs, the originals show only a central Q, whilst the rest have four smaller rivets and the whole name stamped into the leather. It is a beautiful silk clutch, with a inside pocket. There is a hardy black lining inside.

Condition: Pre-owned in Very Good condition. Light scratches on the bottom leather panel. Comes with the original dust bag.
