EXTREMELY RARE 1780s LEEDS TANKARD MOCHA MOCHAWARE PEARLWARE STAFFORDSHIRE

Here we have a stunning large mocha decorated tankard. The tankard is finely molded and decorated with engine turned black and white checkerboard bands, with solid blue glaze on the body. Has an applied strap handle. Measuring 6 in height, the tankard is in near mint condition with only a small chip on the inside of the foot rim with no other damage or repairs. Not signed, this is attributed to Leeds. Desirable piece of mocha ware that would enhance and be highly prized in any collection.
